Motorhome & caravan ceramic coating

Big surfaces.
Bigger payoff.

A motorhome spends most of its life parked outside. Sun bleaches the gelcoat, rain drags black streaks down the sides, and algae takes hold anywhere water sits. A ceramic coating gives all of it a hard, UV-stable layer to sit on instead.

Why coat a motorhome

Gelcoat ages faster than paint.

  • Stops UV fade — white and silver gelcoat goes chalky in a few summers without protection
  • Kills black streaks — run-off from seals and rails stops etching in and rinses away
  • Resists green algae — the damp side that never sees sun stays cleaner for longer
  • Protects decals — graphics fade and lift before the body does
  • Washing gets quicker — the worst part of owning one, cut down considerably
  • Holds resale value — a chalky, streaked van reads as neglected at trade-in

The Adria Coral 670 DL on this page had our 5 year coating. Decontaminated, machine polished, then coated panel by panel — roof, sides, rear and locker doors.

Priced per van, not per package.

A 6-metre coachbuilt and an 8-metre A-class are very different jobs, and condition matters as much as size. Rather than guess a number, we quote off the actual van — send the make, model and length with a couple of photos and we'll come back with a price and a date.

Motorhomes, answered

What owners ask.

How long does a motorhome take?

Considerably longer than a car — there is several times the surface area, and the roof takes the worst of the weather so it can't be skipped. Most vans are a multi-day job. We'll give you the window when we quote.

Can you coat the decals and graphics?

Yes. Coating over decals helps slow the fading and lifting that usually kills them first. Anything already peeling gets flagged before we start rather than after.

Will it stop the black streaks completely?

Nothing stops the run-off itself — that comes from your seals and rails. What changes is that it no longer bonds to the surface, so it rinses off instead of staining in.

Do you come to me, or do I bring it to you?

Coatings are done at our unit in Bridgend, where we can control the environment and cure overnight. If access is difficult, say so when you enquire and we'll talk it through.

What about caravans, horseboxes and boats?

Same job, same products. Gelcoat behaves the same whatever it's bolted to. Enquire and we'll quote.
